SleeperBid is operated by KLAR LLC. This page explains our handling of account and SMS alert data. Our broader site disclosures are in About and disclaimers.

What we collect

For an individual account, we store account identifiers, verified email or phone facts from sign-in, and the lots you save. If you separately opt in to saved-lot SMS alerts, we store the mobile number you enter, the consent version and time, and your alert status. We may store delivery and opt-out records needed to run and troubleshoot the service. Waitlist signups are separate from SMS consent.

How we use it

We use account data to provide saved lots and other requested features. We use SMS consent and your number only for the saved-lot alert program you requested. Twilio processes mobile numbers and messages as our delivery provider. Google Firebase processes account sign-in, and Resend delivers our account and waitlist emails. SMS alerts require phone verification and carrier approval before sending begins.

SMS privacy

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not share mobile numbers or SMS consent with affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Saved-lot alerts are recurring; message frequency varies with the number of lots you save, and message and data rates may apply. You can turn off alerts in Account or reply STOP to an alert. We retain the consent and opt-out record as needed to honor your choice and operate the service.
